CrossFit

  • CrossFit is a constantly varied workout, that prepares you for any physical activity. Workouts are constantly varied, and incorporate weightlifting, gymnastics, running, and more. Each class is led by a passionate, knowledgeable coach who will adjust the workouts to be appropriately challenging for you.

  • CrossFit welcomes and unites people of all ages, abilities, and goals. Our workouts are accessible and effective for all.

  • Each class will be 60 minutes long and will involve: a warm-up specific to that day’s workout, a strength or gymnastics component, and a workout.

CrossFit Lite

  • CrossFit Lite is a community-based, high energy, circuit-style conditioning workouts without the use of barbells or high skill gymnastics movements. This program is more challenging than your average boot camp, but less intense than CrossFit. The primary focus is on conditioning through running, rowing, and calisthenics, along with the use of kettlebells, medicine balls, dumbbells, and bodyweight movements.

  • CrossFit Lite is a great workout for anyone. It is also a great introduction to CrossFit movements for beginners.

  • Each class will be 60 minutes long and will involve: a warm-up specific to that day’s workout, a strength or gymnastics component, and a workout.

  • CrossFit Lite classes are currently on every Tuesday and Thursday from 09:00 - 10:00. Please see our schedule for more details.

Olympic Lifting

  • In this class, our experienced professional coaches will teach the two Olympic lifts: the Snatch & the Clean and Jerk. Olympic Lifting develops many of the skills that define fitness: Speed, Power, Strength, Coordination, Flexibility, Balance, Accuracy, & Agility.

  • This class is for anyone who wants to build strength, power, speed, or learn / improve their lifting. We ask that all participants complete our foundational course before registering.

  • Each class is an hour. The coach will take you through a lifting warm-up before some skill and strength percentage work. Each member will have access to the coach who will help them with their specific needs.

  • Our Olympic Lifting class is currently from 18:00 - 19:00 every Thursday however, many CrossFit classes will also include Olympic Lifting training. Please check our schedule for the most up-to-date timings.

CrossFit Legends

  • Our Legends program is designed for people who would like to enjoy the mix of training that CrossFit offers including strength and conditioning, general fitness and body weight exercises but are looking for a class that is tailored for an older age group and therefore comes with a reduced risk for injury. This class follows CrossFit methodology but is scaled and modified to suit.

  • CrossFit Legends is ideal for athletes older than 50 years or people who feel de-conditioned and haven’t participated in exercise in recent years.

  • Each class will be 60 minutes long and will involve: a warm-up specific to that day’s workout, a strength or gymnastics component, and a workout.

Personal Training

  • Whether you are looking to further your skills in CrossFit, get stronger, faster, fitter or simply rehab after an injury, CrossFit MTS has the coach for you.

    The team boasts an impressive range of experience in working with differing ages, levels of fitness and backgrounds.

    Whether you are looking for a starting point or support on your fitness journey, our phenomenal team are here to keep you accountable and progressing with your individual goals.

  • Personal training is the most effective way to transform your body in the least amount of time. Your personal coach will build you a custom plan and hold you accountable every step of the way.

  • Personal Training typically starts at £50 per session, with discounts available for buying sets of 5 or 10.

Open Gym

  • Open gym is time when you are free to use the gym facilities for training outside the structured classes. You can use this time to work on whatever you like. MTS’ coaches can often be found training during these times and will always welcome you to join in with their sessions.

  • Open gym is for experienced CrossFitters (all members must have finished their fundamentals and be approved by the coaches). It is here for you to do your own thing. To work on your weaknesses or improve your strengths, to do a WOD you missed but really liked the look of, or just simply to lift heavy. Whatever it is, you’ll have access to all the equipment and space you need.

  • Open gym slots are shown in our schedule and can be as long as you want within these time windows!
